Nigeria students enrolled in CSU

At the successful conclusion of the Beijing Summit of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum in 2018, China-Nepal educational cooperation ushered in an important moment on September 7. More than 80 Nigerian students will study in CSU, China to start their study career.

At around 9:00 a.m., in the fourth conference room of the Science and Education Building of CSU, students with orange T-shirts joined the opening ceremony of the cooperation between China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation and CSU to train Nigerian students. More than 140 people, including  Barcoli Usman, Nigeria's Deputy Ambassador to China, Zhang Wenjin, Vice General Manager of China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, Chen Chunyang and Huang Jianling, vice presidents of CSU, as well as the heads of relevant functional departments of the school, witnessed this historic moment.

More than 80 students, including five-year undergraduate students (including one-year language preparatory course), 32 undergraduate students, as well as some master's and doctoral students in China, will study related majors and directions including transportation, transportation equipment and civil engineering.

The selection of international students was carried out jointly by Nigeria's Ministry of Transport, Ahmed Bellow University, CSU and China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation over several months. The selection process was rigorous and the quality of students was excellent.
