Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize for Progress in Science and Technology Awarded to Professor Fan Jinglian

On October 25, the Awarding Ceremony of Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation, 2017, was held at the Diaoyutai State Guest House. Professor Fan Jinglian from Powder Metallurgy Institute of Central South University won the Prize for Progress in Science and Technology.

The Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation was registered and established in Hong Kong, in 1994, funded by four patriotic financiers, He Shanheng, Liang Qiuju, He Tian, and Li Guowei. Intended for innovation and progress in science and technology, it has been awarded to excellent Chinese scientists with remarkable contributions. The foundation has three prizes in total, namely, Prize for Achievement in Science and Technology, Prize for Progress in Science and Technology, and Prize for Innovation in Science and Technology. Since the establishment in 1994, 12 persons from CSU have won the award, with 10 for Progress in Science and Technology, and 2 for Innovation in Science and Technology.
