Agreement Signed on Co-building Coordinating Innovation Center for Advanced Air-crafts Between CSU and the Third Institute of CASIC

On the morning of September 27, the signing ceremony of Agreement on Co-building Coordinating Innovation Center for Advanced Air-crafts Between CSU and the Third Institute of the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC) was held at CSU. Vice President Zhou Kechao and Director of the Development Department of the Third Institute Zou Hong signed the framework agreement on behalf of the two sides respectively. The inauguration was co-joined by CSU President Tian Hongqi and Zhang Hongwen, General Director of the Third Institute of CASIC.

General Director Zhang Hongwen and President Tian Hongqi delivered their speeches over the ceremony. Zhang appreciated CSU’s significant dedication to the field of new materials, which is of great help to the aerospace development, expecting that the two sides could further their cooperation to rail transportation. He expressed his hope that the Coordinating Innovation Center could make some breakthroughs in system mechanism and industrialization of research findings, which can build it into a national model for university-enterprise cooperation. President Tian Hongqi, called for joint endeavors by both parties so that the center can grow into a national platform for integrated development of civil and military affairs.
