Appointment of Tian Hongqi as President of CSU

On June 1, Organization Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee (CPCCC) announced the removal and appointment of the president of CSU and thence Tian Hongqi took over the position from Zhang Yaoxue.

Tian Hongqi, a member of the MDC Party, was born in December 1959 and has been engaged in work since January 1982. She earned an in-service Doctor’s degree in aerodynamics in China Aerodynamics Research and Development Center and has been selected as an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering. She was once vice president of CSU and  was  appointed as Vice president of Chinese Academy of Engineering last June.
